I’m pretty sure design chose me; not the other way around. I took notice of typography, color and other graphic elements as kid, not knowing that it necessarily meant anything. Looking back, I suppose I was destined to be a creative professional, just doing what made sense to me all along.
My graphic inspirations range from vintage neon signs to 50s and 60s Blue Note album covers to modern Minimalist design. I tend to subscribe to the “less is more” ethos, with Massimo Vignelli, David Carson and Reid Miles being among my favorite designers.
Apart from design, my passions include photography, film, travel, the outdoors, fishing, coffee, good eats, making playlists and vintage, small-displacement motorcycles.
